SKAPS ClayArmorTM GCL Product utilizes polypropylene geotextiles that are needle punched with a layer of high-quality sodium bentonite in between the two geotextile components to form a GCL. This product line has several different reinforcements to meet demands for different applications and requirements. These products are intended for use in applications such as Landfills, Mining, Impoundments, and ponds.
ClayArmorTM WL Products:
SKAPS WL GCL Product utilizes a 3 oz/yd2 woven carrier geotextile and 3 oz/yd2 cap nonwoven geotextiles that are lightly needle-punched with a layer of high-quality sodium bentonite in between the two geotextile components. This product is intended for use in applications that need a clay barrier but do not need high reinforced needle punching for critical slope stability applications.
ClayArmorTM WN Products:
SKAPS WN GCL Products utilize a 3 oz/yd2 woven carrier geotextile and 6 oz/yd2 cap nonwoven geotextile that are needle-punched together with a layer of high-quality sodium bentonite in between two geotextile components. This product is intended for moderate to high loads and slopes. It provides peel strength from 3.5 lb/in to 5.3 lb/in.
ClayArmorTM SN Products:
SKAPS SN GCL Products utilize a 6 oz/yd2 scrim-nonwoven carrier geotextile and 6 oz/yd2 cap nonwoven geotextile that are needle-punched together with a layer of high-quality sodium bentonite in between two geotextile components. This product is intended for moderate to very high loads and slopes. It provides peel strength from 3.5 lb/in to 12 lb/in.
